Digging into some of my old files and going back to 2013 to a photo shot with my then current camera, the Samsung SGH-T889, otherwise known as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. This is a scenery shot of the Lower Glass Recreation area on West Point Lake in Troup County, Georgia. It shows wild foliage along the bank along Lower Glass road and some trees out in the water and some beautiful fall colors. It was shot on Thursday, October 11th, 2013.
The following passage was originally published in Photo Of The Day from this particular series of photos taken on Thursday, October 11th, 2013. It is included for viewers who haven’t read it in previous posts:
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was my first cellphone from the Note series by Samsung. That phone and it’s camera gave me the technology I needed during that time to enjoy taking some decent nature shots around the lakes. What you are seeing here is a step back in time to when I really started “documenting” the scenery on a regular basis around the lakes. Anything before that was really just snapshots for fun mostly as I would go out and take photos, but really had no idea what I would do with them. It would be 2016 when I got my Canon SX410 that took my photography to a new level and gave me the motivation to start selling my work in my self published photo magazine, MUDPIX MAGAZINE.

This Website Is Growing!
The month of December 2019 has been a little quieter in terms of site updates being posted. That doesn’t mean that work on the site and the MUDPIX MAGAZINE project has slowed down any. It just means that a lot of things have been getting put together to be brought out in Issue #2 of the magazine and on the website itself. Mudpix.com saw much growth in the amount of pages added in November, and during the month of December, more work was put on getting content in order to be edited for the magazine. The Photo Of The Day series has been on hiatus since December 2019 started and may continue to be on hold for at least through January 2020.
Head over to the Updates page to see what all the new pages are that have been added recently. Keep your eyes peeled throughout the next few months. There’s bound to be tons of pages new things added to the site for you to check out.
