Photo Of The Day #26 Thursday, November 28th, 2019

Digging into some of my old files and going back to 2013 to a photo shot with my then current camera, the Samsung SGH-T889, otherwise known as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. This is a scenery shot of the Lower Glass Recreation area on West Point Lake in Troup County, Georgia. The view you see in this photo is looking out across the water on West Point Lake from Lower Glass Bridge. I was standing in the middle of the bridge when I took this photo. You can’t tell it in this photo, but in the far distance is where West Point Lake Dam is located. This view point is the farthest view away from the dam that I know of where you can see to the other side of the lake where the dam is located. Some spectacular photos can be taken here during the right conditions throughout the day if you have time to spend there. It’s one of my favorite places to take my camera. It was shot on Thursday, October 11th, 2013.

Anything before that was really just snapshots for fun mostly as I would go out and take photos, but really had no idea what I would do with them. It would be 2016 when I got my Canon SX410 that took my photography to a new level and gave me the motivation to start selling my work in my self published photo magazine, MUDPIX MAGAZINE.
