Digging into some of my old files and going back to 2013 to a photo shot with my then current camera, the Samsung SGH-T889, otherwise known as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. This is a scenery shot of the Lower Glass Recreation area on West Point Lake in Troup County, Georgia. It was shot on Thursday, October 11th, 2013. This is a photo of some red berries in a tree near Lower Glass Bridge. I wasn’t expecting much out of this shot when I prepared to do the editing on it, but I love all the colors and how the sunshine captured coming through the trees highlights everything.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was my first cellphone from the Note series by Samsung. That phone and it’s camera gave me the technology I needed during that time to enjoy taking some decent nature shots around the lakes. What you are seeing here is a step back in time to when I really started “documenting” the scenery on a regular basis around the lakes. Anything before that was really just snapshots for fun mostly as I would go out and take photos, but really had no idea what I would do with them.
