The site is/was called Tap That Guy.
It began in 2009 and to the best of my knowledge as of Friday, May 8th, 2020, was last updated in 2019.
It is/was a very popular website.
The general idea behind it is that people from all over the world would submit candid street photography photos to be posted on the website to be enjoyed by it’s viewers.
The sole subject matter of the photography submitted for display: hot men.
The website is/was hosted on Tumblr, however it is my conclusion that Tap That Guy hasn’t been updated in such a long while due to Tumblr’s suicide when it waged war against hosting adult content on it’s servers.
Many people have fled Tumblr’s platform in favor of other more lenient platforms such as NewTumbl.
Tap That Guy is/was one of my favorite websites because of it’s audience participation, and there was never a lack of something new to see.
In my “Best Of TTG” category on my blog I am posting my favorite photos from Tap That Guy’s archive while the website is still accessable online.
I currently do not know the status of what will happen to the website.
I only know it hasn’t been updated in a long time and I would like if possible to offer the world a second chance to see some of the site’s best photos it had if it disappears due to the reasons stated.
