My magazine, MUDPIX, the first issue, is currently in the works. It is a photo journal, coffee table style, digital (pdf) flipbook that will feature my (David Thrift) outdoor and other photography. It is a huge project, and I will admit I am taking some time to complete it, but it is coming as soon as possible.
I also have another photo book I’m working on that will be available as a free download. It will give viewers an understanding of my style of photography. Look for it soon.

Today I am starting a new category on my blog in effort to promote my photography (and eventually art) more than I have been doing. Up until now I have just been doing this on instagram. This category is simply called “Random Photos”.
In this section of the blog I will be posting just that – random photos. I’ll also use this section of the blog to write out any random updates about photography work such as new prints available, any freebie content I may provide (I’m currently working on a free photo scrapbook with some of my nature photography (to promote my upcoming self published photo magazine called MUDPIX MAGAZINE).
The photo you see above is a cell snap of a photo I took with my Canon today of what I think is an Osprey. The photo was taken at Anderson Park on West Point Lake in Chambers County, Alabama.
I am out today trying to take as many photos as I can (time permitting) since this is the last week of Summer 2017.
With that said, I need to put this phone up and get back in gear with my camera.
