TTG Gallery 001

This post is currently under construction. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Photos for this page have not been added here because when I started this gallery, I was posting the photos as individual posts here on the blog. I haven’t had a chance to move them to this page yet.

What made the TAP THAT GUY street photography site at tapthatguy.com so great?

Well of course I think it was great because I’m a fan of street photography who does street photography in the outdoors on Lake Harding and West Point Lake. It was community driven, meaning people from all over the world submitted photos to the project. The project gave it’s viewers a chance to see scenery and a lot of hot random men from different locations. Did I mention that it was community driven? I think it’s really cool that over a period of 10 years so many anonymous people contributed to making TAP THAT GUY happen.

Why are you putting these photos on your mudpix.com website?

Quite simply I am trying to save the archive from what I suspect is inevitable extinction.

Around the middle of May 2020 I checked on the tapthatguy.com website just to see some new photos there since it had been awhile since I viewed it.

I noticed the website owner had not updated the site in almost a year which seemed odd since that website used to receive very frequent updates.

Then I thought about it…

Tapthatguy.com is hosted by Tumblr, yes the company that crippled itself by censoring adults consumption of adult material on it’s servers.

It made sense when I realized that most likely the reason tapthatguy.com hasn’t been updated in so long is probably due to lack of interest perhaps by it’s site owner, and also probably because since a lot of people have abandoned Tumblr almost completely (including myself), there probably isn’t enough interaction to motivate the site owner to continue his/her project.

This is an alarming situation to me because I love the TAP THAT GUY site and all of the photos that were posted there.

Because the site has gone so long without an update, I’m under suspicion that site may be on it’s way to domain heaven if it’s site owner fails to make anymore updates or even continue his/her domain ownership.

So all of those reasons are why I am archiving the best, and my favorite photos from the TAP THAT GUY archive here at mudpix.com in this gallery.

I would really hate to see all of the work so many people did in that project just simply vanish if tapthatguy.com were to ever be lost, and should the site owner start updating again then that will be great and I will still have a gallery of the best photos (in my opinion) from it here for you, and myself, to enjoy.
